Working on lyrics

I have been working on the lyrics to this song over and over, while living in NYC for a few weeks. I'm starting to get happy with them and working on sort of dark spooky melody. It just snowed a few inches and as I walk down these city streets, I can no longer see the empire state building over my left shoulder. It's pretty cool with all of this haze because it looks like f**king Gotham City. I've been trying to go to a dark place in order to scrape these lyrics out of my mind. With all this darkness, I normally always find the light. I haven't found it yet. And still I keep searching. xxx-JT
