Grammys
So I finally broke down and watched the Grammys last night. I was mainly watching to see if Kings of Leon would win the big one...and they took home Best Rock Performance! Normally I don't get into that stuff, but the "Rap Pack" brought the house down. And it was cool to see my favorite drummer (Dave Grohl) perform with my favorite songwriter (Paul Mccartney). Pretty awesome.
The reason for this blog is to announce how happy I am that Blink 182 is getting back together. It was worth sitting through the whole show to hear them say they are ready to make music together again. Blink and Green Day are the bands that I listened to most while growing up, so I am extremely excited about this. I attached a photo of my first "real" guitar for you guys to see. I saw blink 182 in 1998 and Tom was playing a guitar similar to this, so I left the show on a mission to find it. I'm sure his was a way nicer model, but this was good enough for me then...and I have never gotten rid of it. Hey Blink 182! Take us on tour...

I am super psyched about them being back together too! And that would be the most awesome show in the world if you guys played with Blink!! I have so much Blink (and Blink affiliated bands A&A, +44, boxcarracer) on my ipod that it seems like they play every other song when I put it on shuffle. I would definitely drive across the country or even to Canada if you guys played together!
i didnt know you like blink they are awesome but not better then you guys but yeah you guys should definetly play with blink that would be the best show in the world you should go in tour together. sorry about casey he is in our hearts and will always be missed im sure at every concert he is right there on stage with you guys he was a great guitar player and there will never be anybody like him he was really one of a kind and can never be replaced he was crazy and funny but in a good way it was sad how it happpened but even though his life wasnt very long im sure he lived a good one again he will be missed he was a good guy rip casey calvert
