Quality Over Quantity

So today we spend some part of the day in the studio before heading back to Ohio. We essentially finished up a few songs while we were in NY, so now that leaves us with polishing up what we didn't finish while there and writing a few additional songs. We're going to hit the studio and release the album as soon as possible without compromising the quality of the songs. So that brings me to my second point: no updates on number of songs for you...its quality over quantity this time around. I never understood how some bands say they have 100 songs written for their new record and then when you listen to the 11 or so they chose for the album, you scratch your head and wonder what the other 89 songs sound like because the 11 they chose, aren't that good to begin with.
